About me
I received my Bachelor of Architecture degree at Southeast University in China and my Master of Architecture degree from the University of California, Berkeley. Now I am working as a Software Engineer at Google.
Each of my urban design projects has not only updated my design methods, but also helped me to come to an in-depth understanding of architectural design. In this process, the relationship and interaction of different elements have gradually become the very concern of my design. As DOGMA's Pier Vittorio Aureli put it, “we can no longer let cities be uncontrolled and develop only because of economic growth. Cities need limits and boundaries for survival. Therefore, this is no longer a problem of mobility and pattern. It is a matter of form.” Whether to operate urban flows and infrastructure, or to provide a radical spatial form to establish a neutral structure and certainty, which will be a better choice, or an alternative way to make for urbanity? Those questions with uncertainty are what I want to explore.
